Mary Beth Nash has litigated on behalf of private and public sector entities in state and federal courts for nearly three decades. Her primary areas of practice have included defense of personal injury claims, workers’ compensation and employment claims, civil rights matters, and professional malpractice cases. One of the highlights of her career was serving as a Special Assistant Attorney General representing Virginia Tech from 2006-2012. She received her B.A. in Rhetoric & Communication Studies from the University of Virginia and her Juris Doctor from the West Virginia University College of Law. Mary Beth serves on the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board and the Boards of the Legal Aid Society of Roanoke Valley, the Virginia Women Attorney’s Association and Member One Federal Credit Union. She was recognized recently as a “Pro Bono Hero” for volunteer work with the Virginia State Bar’s Free Legal Answers program. Mary Beth earned her private pilot’s license in 2020, and has logged more than 250 hours in the DA-20 and DA-40 at Star Flight Training. When she isn’t practicing law or flying, Mary Beth enjoys playing golf and watching her sons’ football games.
